Sean Jackson is an American photographer and filmmaker committed to the narratives of everyday heroism. An apprentice to Bruce Weber, his work moves between documentary and editorial — rooted in working communities and the unguarded moments that define us.
His Fall 2025 New York Times cover feature, "The Millionaire Who Left Wall Street to Become a Paramedic," embedded with NYC's Rescue Medics and was subsequently acquired by Imagine Entertainment for television development.
Originally from Virginia, Jackson is a graduate of the Hussman School of Journalism and Media at the University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill. He lives and works in New York City.
